Driving Program
This one day course is a natural follow on from the introduction to 4x4 driving program and introduces drivers to safe off-road recovery procedures and also their responsibilities in regards to caring for the environment.
The course introduces participants to the correct use of vehicle winches including power take off, electric, hydraulic and various hand winches. The day also covers instruction on other forms of recovery equipment such as shackles, snatch straps, slings, chains and snatch block.
The sessions are all hands on with practical training in:
- Towing stranded vehicles
- Jacking vehicles — OME Jack and high lift Jack
- Winching exercises
- Water crossing (weather permitting)
A guaranteed enjoyable, educational and muddy day.
